The mechanical branch, under the banner of Taurus, are a group of lively and active engineering students of School of Engineering, CUSAT. In every sphere- curricular and co-curricular - the Taurusians show exemplar performance. The Taurusians skill set also extends into the fine arts. Including last year's achievement of being the overall champions in Vipanchika, Taurusians have consistently secured a place among the top 3 branches. As in the case of sports, the artists from the branch find a place in the college and university teams of their respective arts. So next time you hear the name Taurus in the CUSAT campus, you can be sure that it is a name that lives up to the zodiac sign that it represents.
